About
Life FertilityCare Treatment and Women's Health |
|
| |
The Life FertilityCare programme provides counselling,
support and treatment for women experiencing problems with their
menstrual cycles, fertility and pregnancies.
FertilityCare promotes Pre-Conceptual
Health and a holistic, natural approach to women's health.
We support women experiencing emotional problems in relation
to their fertility and in need of information on their health.
The Life FertilityCare programme is based on, and accredited
by the FertilityCare NaProTechnology Programme very successfully
developed in the USA, and is delivered by qualified professionals
who provide this healthcare service for women and their families.
What we can treat
We offer treatment for the following conditions affecting
women's health:
- Amenorrhoea and Oligomenorrhoea
- Polycystic Ovaries and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
- Pre-Menstrual Syndrome (PMS)

How
FertilityCare treatment works |
|
| |
There are separate leaflets on treatment for the above conditions.
But in general we use a woman's menstrual cycle to monitor her
normal mucus discharge and with a unique charting system provide
basic data with which she can understand and manage her menstrual
cycles.
This information helps us identify any reproductive abnormalities
which may cause unusual bleeding, irregular cycles or other problems
such as PMS and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.
Where necessary, we use ultrasound scanning to investigate further.
Additional investigation may be necessary, including blood tests,
to arrive at a precise diagnosis of her problem or problems.
Where indicated, treatment may consist of prescribing natural
hormones and vitamins to bring her body back to good health. Our
programme enables us to provide effective, safe and morally acceptable
treatment which respects the dignity of the woman and co-operates
with her procreative system to improve her health.

FertilityCare
education and information on Fertility Awareness |
|
| |
This enables couples to manage their fertility naturally, both
to achieve and avoid pregnancy - Natural
Family Planning. This shared awareness and understanding of
the menstrual cycle is the key to developing the ability to identify
fertile and infertile phases and thus manage their fertility.
FertilityCare promotes understanding the Menstrual
Cycle
By understanding the Menstrual Cycle, women are able to identify
what is a 'normal' and therefore a healthy fertile state.
FertilityCare promotes Pre-Conceptual Healthcare
Advice on diet and lifestyle to promote pre-conceptual health.
FertilityCare promotes understanding and ways
to cope with Pre-Menstrual Syndrome
By understanding Pre-Menstrual Syndrome, women are better
able to cope with the symptoms they experience. A greater understanding
and development of coping strategies is beneficial. These will
reduce the impact of what are sometimes very debilitating symptoms
and lead to an improvement in general health and well-being.
FertilityCare promotes Breast Care
FertilityCare provides information and ways to cope
with the menopause
FertilityCare provides information on protecting
the body against osteoporosis
and genito-urinary problems
